The J.K. Gadzama Campaign Organisation has kicked against last Sunday’s Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) elections, which produced Mr Abubakar Mahmud (SAN) as its president-elect.
In a protest letter submitted to the National Secretariat of the NBA, Mr Joe Gadzama (SAN), who contested the election with Mahmud, said the concern raised was as a result of the inability of the NBA to adequately address the issues that came up in the build-up to the election.
In the letter signed by Prof Maxwell Gidado (SAN) and Emmanuel Oluwabiyi, the organisation said: “We refer specifically to our previous letters of the June 24, July 15 and July 20, 2016. All of these letters and their various attachments were received by the Nigerian Bar Association as shown by their endorsements.
